Bob Fish Memorial Scholarship

Congratulations, Scholarship Winners!

The Rhode Island Broadcasters Association has awarded the 2024 Bob Fish Memorial Scholarship to exceptional students who are pursuing careers in communications. Congratulations to: Jodi, a graduate student at Southern Utah University; Sydney, a sophomore at Rhode Island College; Alaina, a freshman at Nova Southeastern University and Ali, a freshman at Brown University.

Each student has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship. 

RIBA awards up to ten $1,000 scholarships to qualified students each year.

Applications for the 2025 Bob Fish Memorial Scholarship will be accepted starting January 1st, 2025.   

Qualifications:

- Must be a Rhode Island resident or attending a university/college within Rhode Island
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
- Enrolled in a course of study involving broadcasting, communications or journalism, or able to demonstrate employment or extra-curricular activities that compliment a career in TV or Radio.
